Children’s Books Plant Seeds
Gardeners have been checking out their seed options for months now. Spring is in the air and soil is being prepared
.
Did you know that’s what you’re doing everytime you look for a children’s book for your child?
When a gardener wants a new plant, he/she checks for hardiness in their area. They keep in mind what has already been planted and will be something to enrich the view, support the surrounding plants and give them joy while they reap the benefits upon maturity. Yes, that’s your child in a nutshell!
Look to Your Child’s Personality for Book Choices
You look at what their ‘bent’ is…which way their personality is showing a leaning. Do they love art? Then you look for books that are rich in illustrations and possibly have the specific art media and crafts they love in it. This is a good thought on the natural side of the five senses, but what about their little spirits? They are spirit, soul and body just like us.
How Would I Plant Something Hardy in Them Spiritually?
Next time you’re looking for a seed catalog, check out the Christian bookstores too, put Christian children’s books and Christian authors into your Search browser. I’ll be showing up with my Christian children’s books when you do! Or go directly to my blog and Author Website with Store
Very true! I grew up loving the Berstein Bear books and have been so encouraged to see faith lessons drawn out in more recent publications that I’ve been reading to my 5 yr old. It’s amazing what kinds of lessons can continue to be learned by virtue of a good story (your books are included for sure!) 🙂

Thanks for including my books in your recommendations, Heidi! Have you gone online to see if there is any further curriculum material with those children’s books? It seems to be a current trend for helping parents, Sunday School teachers and grandparents gain more value with the books.
Be sure to check out my Orville Wright Caterpillar to Butterfly curriculum with a craft, questions and answers about the book and a place to even purchase real cocoons that will hatch at your home. I did it once and it was awesome!
Thank you so much for dropping by my blog and leaving comments. I really appreciate your time and input. I totally agree about planting the seeds! Also, I would like to showcase your work at my blog on Friday, April 29, 2011 (with your permission). My email address is Matt5verse6 [at] yahoo [dot] com. Please let me know what you think. Thank you.
Kindest regards,

Hi, Brook!
Stopping by your blog keeps me on my toes regarding the Word of God. Tell me more about the work you’re talking about.
Your title, “The Devid Made Me Do It!” is a total eye-catcher!
The movie you are putting out is certainly one children will love.
I’ve checked out your site and recommend it to parents that want some extra materials to go with the movie or to even use before the movie and get the children involved.
Congratulations on your success!
