Heads UP re: NameCheap for Domains

This posting is a ‘heads up’ for all you bloggers who want to look more professional and not miss out on a search for you online
Advice given to me was get the ‘blogspot.com’ off the end of your blog URL and buy a domain name.  Well, I found a great place that has those domain names at a super price.  What I’m listing next is their monthly special which I was NOT fortunate enough to find (among the specials) when I placed the orders for my domain names.  Yes, I purchased more than one so I can point the book titles names, and my blogs name directly to my blog and my Author Website (still under construction, temporary location).  With a name like, ‘Perugini’, you can’t try too hard to make sure they can find you!
What you do is take the domain name link purchased and point the link toward your blog or website.  If you have trouble doing that, they help you at NameCheap to get it right.  Yeh, they were GOOD to me!

Discounts of the Month for http://www.namecheap.com/

This month, our coupon code for brand new domain purchases is back2reality, which brings down the cost of $10.16 domains to $9.29 and $9.69 domains to $8.81.  (One Year Purchase)

I just posted a tutorial by Carrie Kimmel about personalized handmade books, “The Little Pink Whale” was one example .  She could purchase that title for her domain name and have it pointing to her blog, “Made by Bedtime Tales”.  Then anytime someone is looking for that book, their search is pointed directly to her blog.  Or if they know her name’s spelling, they can find her via a domain name purchase for Carrie Kimmel, especially if she’s not ranking yet in a Google Search.  It goes without saying, the domain name would clean up the blogspot.com on the end of the blog name.

Hope this helps you fellow bloggers, authors, writers, friends and store owners!
