I want to thank Blogger Buzz and the Blogger Team behind
Blogs of Note for giving me the most exciting day! I went into my Blogger stats and found that I was the featured blog on
Blogs of Note

I was that blog out of millions of blogs…what a blessing! Could God have been in it? Yes and I thank Him for it being turned around to my good. What am I talking about? I’ll let you know in the next posting…for now read more of the good news.
What’s the Big Deal?
Why is that awesome you ask? Google, who IS the giant search engine of the world, put my blog in front of the whole world! I looked at my Statscounter and the map of who was looking at my blog at that moment….people all over the world were looking back at me! Lights on the map were blinking like a Christmas tree…then more lights would pop up. I was feeling like a child seeing the gifts under the tree on Christmas morning.

How Google’s Blogger Is Helping My Book Launch
The most I had ever noticed looking at the pages while I was online was 3 people and I was one of the 3. After 100 posts and few followers, I watched as the blog followers grew before my eyes. It was modest, but there were people showing up that I may not have met any other way. Blogs chosen remain on their short list of one weeks worth on the Blogs of Note http://blogsofnote.blogspot.com/ page as post more each day. Then you are placed in their Blogs of Note archives for people to still find. I also looked in the Google Searches and I’m number one under Blogs of Note! I am literally, Queen for a Day!
This was like a book launch that could only be dreamed about! That’s right, my Christian children’s books are back in print…ready to be purchased.at www.DonnaPerugini.com ..and Google’s Blogger made my dream of reaching out and telling the world come true! It was like having a surprise party, favors and all!! My children’s book titles are:

There are groups who have sprung up that gather around that idea like the SITs girls (Secrets In The Sauce). If you are the blogger of the day, you could end up with from 50 to 200 comments in that one day because of the 'sisterhood'.

You got that right! People have no idea what happened and then to have this happen…it was COMPLETELY an answer to prayer above and beyond what we could ask or imagine! You actually have to know about the Blogs of Note to imagine it, right? Never knew! I'm looking to pass the 10,000 mark for visitors to my site. I finally broke past the 100 for followers and subscribers are coming onboard with email subscriptions.

You have the right idea!
Even while you're pregnant, pick one special story you read to your inutero baby. When they are in your arms, read the story and by the time they are older, they'll have all the voice inflections, storyline and your love embeded in them.
I used to sing a song all the time i was pregnant and the only song that would comfort my son was that song.

Teaching children about nature is important. Ranger Rick is a very good children's magazine my children grew up with and learned so much about nature.
I'm grateful living in the Pacific NW. We have black bear that visit, a cougar that chased the dog (dog is okay), a bobcat that attacked the cat (vet bill on this one)and she learned to be faster, deer (love to eat the roses). We are the intruders, but share with caution, their world.
We take care of our forests and appreciate God's handiwork all around us.

I'm so happy for you, and your honesty. I don't care how you got the 'blog of note' distinction, you run with it.
Well, today we remembered to bring the camera outside, but when we looked, they were GONE. Lucas was a bit concerned about save the planet
. It was raining, though, so they may just have been staying out longer than usual or maybe moved somewhere drier temporarily? I don't know. We'll look again tomorrow.
