We just celebrated a day remembering we were completely forgiven and set free.
Easter is about Jesus being the final sacrifice for all sin…even unforgiveness. Who are we to hold someone in unforgiveness?
Everyone faces a hurt, betrayal, unjustified action of hate by someone. You live long enough and there can be quite a load. With our forgiving others, we are the ones that are set free. To hold on to a grudge leaves us open to the growth of that grudge.

Oh, this is awesome Donna! As I read your opening remarks, I thought, oh, this lesson is SO true! And then I thought, It sounds just like the information in her children’s book, but for adults! LOL.
We have this book and it is a great book for teaching your kids about not holding grudges.

Ha! You’re right, CK. It’s from my book, Don’t Hug a Grudge. I remember you just wrote me and told me your son liked the book.
I just had a Prison Chaplain reach me for a few books. She said it was an ‘adult book disguised as a children’s book’. She was going to put a couple of books in their prison library.
Did you get to download that free material from Kyria Parent Connect about ‘Forgiveness’? I don’t know how long they keep it free.
