What Do A Buggy, Shopping Cart, Bike, Three Wheeler Have in Common?

Taga buggy bikeI am so impressed by this for parents,

grandparents and anyone who would need to ride a three wheel bike.  What really impresses me is that you could purchase this bike and have it from parenthood and still use it into grandparent years.  People are snagging this bike off the shelves!

Thanks to Dulemba for bringing this to my attention, I’m passing it on here.

Here’s how much the bike covers:

  • 3 wheels, no easy tipping
  • baby seat can be attached to front pointing forward or toward the parent
  • Twins?  No problem!  There is the ability to attach 2 baby seats

Stroller instead of bike?  Yes!

  • No kids?  Turns into a bike with basket for groceries
  • Then it turns into a shopping cart you can push

What about inclement weather?

  • Just put up the enclosure on baby seat for baby

I could go on even further, but you should take a look at it online just for kicks.   I remember when Princess Di was pushing the running buggy that swept the nation.  Some genius is in the process of sweeping the world with this one.  Check out the video at the end and then the site at Taga .

There was a time I put my son, age two,  on the first baby seat for bikes….with no helmet and lots of concern.  If I wasn’t as strong as I was, we would have both tipped onto the pavement crying.  Then we went into a season of padded seats, care for the legs and feet and finally the child helmet was introduced.  This was over a period of ten years!

It was the same way with cars and seat belts…amazing we survived with just a moms arm flung out in front of us as she put on the brakes and we were in the front passenger seat next to her.

On the Taga, did I point out that grandparents could ride this to the grocery store, rearrange it into a shopping cart to push around the store and then arrange it back into a bike for the ride home.  Three wheels, so concern should be down for tipping.  It also collapses for apartment storage.

I’d love to give this item a ride, rearrangement and collapse…just to see if it is a dream come true!

What do you think about this creativity?  Would you need lessons in all the things to do with it?  Leave your comments!

That thing is just too cool for school. I had never seen such a thing! Thanks for introducing me too it, I hope it shows up on Amazon soon, my little dude would *love* to ride in the front of that thing!

Just when you think you have seen it all, some bright spark comes up with something new. That thing is brilliant – can’t wait to find one, my 2 year old will get a hoot out of riding in it – and it even seem pratical.

I agree, it’s not about speed but safety and convenience. Wish I had one when the kids were little!
