Mother’s Day is near? Check the commercials on TV

Mother’s Day for Hallmark starts at least three weeks early and pumps up the tear level quickly. The whole point of Mother’s Day is the sentiment behind it, not the cards to purchase or gifts. How will you let the mothers you love know how you feel?

How sad that we need a day to let mothers and grandmothers know how much we love them, think about them and are ever so grateful for their presence in our lives.

Make Mother’s Day Everyday!

Don’t wait until the last minute to let them know how much you love them. Tell them now and every day of the year. Mother’s Day will come Sunday, May 12, 2013. You can be ready with your children making gifts for grandmother and even you (secretly of course)  by going to my Pinterest board and click on Mother’s Day Crafts. If you are a Sunday School teacher or Children’s Church worker, you’ll find so many ideas that I’ve taken the time to repin under the title, Children’s Ministry Ideas. 

I’m bringing up the craft and card making end of Mother’s Day so you can start early and be ready. Some of the tutorials you can spread out over a couple of weeks, like the metal washer necklace, braided head band, bracelets, hand print tutorials, chalk board ideas. You have to go and check out the board! Think of it like I cooked a great meal and want you to be my guest…yeh, it’s that good!

If you haven’t followed me on Pinterest before, you’ll find that I load up with crafts for children of all ages and try to hit all the holidays. After Mother’s Day, you’ll be ready to repin from my Father’s Day board. My boards lean toward ‘teaching’, just like my books.
